iTi Performance Motorsports Teams with Crowley Off-Road for the 2010 Race Season

March 5, 2010

Shingle Springs, CA (March 4, 2010) – Crowley Off-Road Racing is pleased to announce that they have teamed with the leader in sway bars for UTVs, iTi Performance Motorsports.

“Our Kawasaki Teryx will race in mutliple disciplines this year and will require different setups for each type of terrain,” commented Jon Crowley. “At the Pit Bull Tires King of the Hammers UTV Race, we wanted as much ground clearance and flex as possible. But our next race will be a short course for the VORRA series at Prairie City SVRA. We need to lower the center of gravity a bit and add a bunch of sway control to our Teryx to make it more nimble in the sharp turns. Front and rear sway bars will give us the ability to tune the Teryx for each type of race.”

Crowley Off-Road chose iTi Performance Motorsports sway bars for the front and rear of their Monster Energy Kawasaki Teryx for a few reasons. First off, owner Glenn Crossno knows all about racing in the dirt and turning corners fast since his racing roots stem back to the 1950s when his dad, Dale Crossno, started racing midgets. Since opening iTi Performance Motorsports, Glenn and his team strive to stay out front in the development of innovative advances in racing chassis, performance and suspension components. Secondly, we have used iTi’s sway bars on a few of our other UTVs and have been very impressed with the difference in body roll.

The photo above show just how much body roll we had before the King of the Hammers UTV race. “We are really looking forward to some fast, flat corners at the first short course race with our iTi sway bars installed,” said Crowley. “With the front and rear bars in place, it will make a huge difference in how much speed we can carry through the tight corners.”

The Monster Energy #1965 Kawasaki Teryx is scheduled to compete in the opening round of the VORRA season on March 20 – 21, 2010 at Prairie City SVRA near Sacramento, CA.
